The Ancestors Are Meeting Because We Have Met (2021)

This essay was commissioned for Disembodied Territories - a project led by Sara Salem and Menna Agh and co-funded by the London School of Economics and the Vlaams Architectuurinstituutand - that brought together contributions and interviews re-imagining mapping, space, power, and coloniality across Africa and the diaspora.

What follows are reflections on Black-Indigenous relations and language and what they can reveal about the possibilities of anticolonial relationality.
